|These are the five fab guidelines of what gets into our gallery and what doesn't.|
If we decline your submitted piece, we will refer to these rules when explaining why.
Please familiarize yourself with these rules before submitting art!
In the end, it saves both your time and our time!
1. 50 % color
At least half of your artwork needs to consist of colors that aren't black, white or grey.
2. Good presentation
We do not accept the following:
photography with poor lighting or focus
poor-quality photographs or scans of traditional works or crafts
traditional works with badly cropped edges or distractions such as notebook spirals, lined paper, hands or tools.
3. Your best work
We will not accept snapshots, quick doodles, works in progress or other works where little effort has been put into the piece. However, artists of ALL skills are welcome to submit their works!
4. Content & credit
We do not accept the following:
literature, journals, tutorials, memes, adoptables or advertising
photomanipulations without credit listed (if it is your photo, credit yourself!)
mature works without a mature filter
works violating dA rules (stolen works, explicit/hate content)
5. Creative usage of color
We prefer to accept pieces with a well-thought-out use of colors and an understanding of color theory. Please refer to THIS JOURNAL for further advice.
If you have any questions in regards to any of these rules, please browse our F.A.Q. or feel free to send us a note
