| General We ask that you respect these submission rules to avoid wasting time for re-submitting and occupying the admins. The submission guidelines in journal format can be found here. (Note that all the underlined text in this guide are links!) If you are having trouble with submitting work to the gallery, feel free to use this guide. Content We're an open minded group. You can submit any kind/style of art that relates to colour. This means you can submit art that is once-coloured, multi-coloured, rainbow-themed or any other form of art that accentuates colour. We welcome beginning and professional artists. However, please note that we do not accept art that doesn't showcase colour in any way. The point of our groups existence is to showcase use of colour in art. Please Remember : 1. When voting, we focus on the quality and usage of colour in your work. There are plenty of images that have lots of colours in them, but simply aren't well thought through or well done. Please take that into consideration when submitting and please do not feel discouraged when your work is declined. 2. We do not accept B&W art. Please note that we do not accept purely white, black or gray-scale work. It is our personal choice as a group to do so. Please respect this decision. 3. Only submit your best work Please do not submit scribbles, doodles or quick snapshots. If we feel like very little effort has been put into your piece, we might decline. 4. Please only submit finished art. We do not accept Works in Progress, uncropped works or blurry/low-quality photos. 5. Make sure the piece has at least 50% of colours. Please check your piece consists of at least 50% of colours (that aren't black/grey/white). The larger amount of colours, the more likely we are to accept, but we expect the piece to be at least this colorful. If you are unsure about the colourfulness in your piece, feel free to submit anyway. That's what the gallery admins are here for! Artisan Crafts are an exception--the photo of the craft doesn't have to be >50% of colour, as long as the craft itself is at least that colourful. 6. You always get a reason. The admins will always give a reason for declining your work. This is not to criticize you or your art, but to help you to submit the right kind of art in the future. 7. Make sure to submit to the right folder. We will decline work submitted to the wrong folders, and tell you in a comment the correct folder to re-submit to. Unfortunately we are getting so many submissions it's impossible to re-submit all of them ourselves, thank you for understanding this.
